E63 smoking on cold start
Car has 6.5k miles. I was moving it around today so I could wash my Ferrari in the garage. I started the E 3 times within 2 hours and every time there was a noticeable amount of smoke.
Normal in your experience(s)?

If you start the car and turn it off quickly, the cats don't have time to warm up.
Therefore, next time you start it, there's gonna be smoke.
This happens all the time when we move cars around the showroom...it's normal.

True, it is normal. But it is the engines not getting a chance to heat up to normal tolerances. My C63 smoked once same scenario. Started a CLK 63 at the dealer and it just about choked us out. My ZX14 did it a bit and I had three Honda Valkyries that were the worst for this. A few short starts and youd swear the next time the engines ware shot, LOL.

Happens to me too when I move the car out of the garage to wash it and then back in to dry. Not a problem.
