A Supra turbo did 221. My dyno shop said the car did 998hp on their dyno. A 993 came in second at 216...a magazine article said the car has 1157 hp at the crank. Full results will be posted on their site on Tuesday.

I wouldn't put too much faith in those results.
this is from the Corvette forum:
The radar guns were a complete JOKE!!!! A modded '08 Viper ACR was told he went 120mph... on his GPS he went 173.
My buddy was told he went 180 mph in his 450 rwhp Saleen Mustang that probably cant even hit 180 in 2 or 3 miles.....
I did an indicated 171 and 168 respectfully... My car is 100% stock on slightly taller Invo rear tires. On my 168 mph run, I was told the radar read 158 mph... when I questioned it, they said that they might have wrote it down wrong and it was probably 168...... Then later they said their radar was in fact LOW by 20 mph So I went 178..... yea right...
All in all an event with lots of unfulfilled participants!!!! IF they do another one... they have a lot to learn IMO
And yes...it was HOT!

This is from the site.
Mile Marker-1
We'd like to thank everyone who attended the event. It was pretty hot out there, but you all came out regardless.
Next event will be posted up on the site within a few weeks. We want to identify the best date for Jan 2010 and pick up new timing equipment.Cool
Those of you with any questions about the event and the future event, please email us at Run@Milemarker-1.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
ONCE AGAIN THANKS!

At least one modded E55 and modded S65 on the list, and at least two C63's apparently. Be interesting to see the results once they're all posted.

Their timing equipment was WAY WAY OFF. Waste of time to even post it IMHO.
My SL55 hit the stock limiter way before the mile marker. I need a tune and pulley damn it!
The Renntech SL65 hit 186 on GPS I think.
A pulley and tune E55 ran but I don't know his numbers. The ones on their site can't be trusted.

I must agree 100% with the previous postings. I was there on Sunday, and unfortunately this event was poorly organized. There were some very nice cars out there representing South Fl, wish it would have lived up to the expectations.
I did not run my car, but overheard people who did run theirs questioning the speeds being relayed. Another problem was that the cars that were waiting in long line to run were having to wait 15-20 minutes while slowly moving up for turn, and it was easily 90+ degrees out there.
I realized it was pretty bad when a black Corvette Z06 which was pretty heavily modded ran and was told it did only 164 mph.?? With a full mile to run?? All in all nice to go out and see some great cars, but organizers have much more to improve on.
