Is Jrcart going to attend? Last I heard he ran 10's but wan't to keep a lid on it.
What going on with Mr. Full Throttle? Perhaps a great opportunity to see what a stock CLS 55 can do in good conditions.
Anybody bringing a stock 63? The stock 63 record is still in tact thanks to Oldgixxer and his baby seat equipped E63.
Time to make a run at the 11.348 best modded (non-nitrous) 63 ET as well.
For the FI crowd,
10.75? 10.58? anybody gonna show people its possible to trap 130 plus?
I hope to see the records collapse and wish all attendees a safe and fun filled event.
Dayum its going to be a WILD DECEMBER TO REMEMBER!

Yea he is supposed to be there.
I dunno, haven't heard from him in a while.
I believe oldgixxer will be in attendance
I'm not trapping 130. Maybe someone else can Hasn't Marko already done it? (besides Alan)
Records will fall as long as the forecast remains good

We both know it doesn't matter what you trap and the only thing that matters in a 1/4 mile run is the ET's. As of recently I forgot about what really matters going down that 1320' of straight a way. I'll be running this Saturday along with you guys and I'll pm you some ET's and I hope you do the same. Once again good luck all and be safe.

Andy from MHP will be there and baring any unforeseen challenges I'll be there as well. Its a long haul from Florida but from what I hear running at MIR is worth the drive, especially with the conditions we are looking at. Should be a very fun day!

Is it going to be a "Shootout"? Let's get a ladder going and have 8 or 10 guys enter and run an elimination format.

Good luck Ahmad and I hope you break all the records that day .

Yup, exactly! I will definitely keep you posted on times. I know you will be breaking records!
No it is not a "shootout" per say for several reasons. One being that there will be alot of other cars that want to run and not watch some benzes drag racing lol. Secondly, one lane will be for street tires and the other for drag radials and slicks, therefore not being even. If you guys want to set something up on the side thats fine but we aren't going to keep 40+ cars from running just so we can get a shootout. You go home with the quickest ET then you know you have the quickest car

I just got off the phone with MIR. He said he will open the gates by 8:30AM for us and track will be prepped and ready to go by 9:00AM. Left lane will be street tire and right lane will be drag radial and slicks (like last time). Cars can back up against the fence and park at a 45 degree angle in the staging lanes. Trailers will be parked in the pits (not the staging lanes) so we have more room for cars to park and room for people to go up and run when they want. They will also open a suite in the tower for us to get away from the cold and view the racing form a great indoor/heated angle! PLEASE do not leave the suites messy and lets clean up after ourselves so we are given this privilege again. See ya saturday, as of now the weather looks to be excellent for optimal runs!

The Black Series is down at my house in Dallas for the winter, going to be doing some track days (both road course and strip) down there over the winter months, however the weather at MIR looks like it is going to make for some blistering quick E/T's, who knows, I might have a change of heart and have it shipped to MD later this week. As for 130mph trap speeds, I went 130.3mph (on a somewhat crappy E/T) before even breaking into the 10's and have trapped at over 133mph since then, IMO a high trap speed is kind of pointless since my quickest E/T pass is over 2 MPH less than my fastest trap pass, I think 1/8 mile trap speed is a more important and more gauge of performance.

It's not an MB/AMG record so it really does not matter, if and when the day comes that I go sub 10.50's I'll be sure to post up slips, and vid proof, until then I'm keeping things on the DL, it's just better that way since some people on here have a problem with my E/T's since they were achieved using nitrous. I can say that I have been focusing on non-nitrous passes and have a string of consistant non-nitrous passes in the 11.16-11.25 range.

Ahh, I see, ya, I kinda thought there were a handful of people already that achieved 130 plus. Marko has to be close, maybe even already exceeded the 130 mark sans nitrous.

Wow .
Sorry to hijack your thread Ahmad.
Jim could you post up your best times and traps in the fastest 63 thread that would be highly appreciated or if you prefer you can send me info to 866-600-0027. Or pm.
Thank You, and my apologies for the OT.
I am very excited to see what you guys do 12/5/09.

Where do you run down here in Dallas..?? The AMG owners around here seem to be pretty stuffy, and not down for the fact that their car is quick. And yes, like everything else I still think you're ride is NASTY.!!
