The knock offs are about $150 a set on ebay. I bought some just to check them out and hated them. Ended up getting MB parts.

Got a few quotes from some people, I wonder if I would come out cheaper buying them unpainted and getting them painted locally rather than getting them prepainted.

Yes, the knock offs come unpainted, so getting them painted will cost. The OEM ones are factory painted.
