Fuel filter diy??

Since the search function here never works for me- I have to ask..

I contacted a shop and they told me that to get my fuel filter replaced- it is between $500-$800 just for parts. I have done fuel filters on all my other cars and they typically cost much less and the job is a simple 30 minute max job. Can anyone point me to a diy and a good source to buy the filter from?

I really appreciate it.
