mods power go0d or bad?

Looking to mod my e55 03

There is a place in sydney where im from who works on them.

He said he will do the front section of the exhaust. from the header to the secondery cats. So headers front pipes hi flow metal cats x pipe and delete the second cats. and K&n filters and a tune.

and he said i would make around 345-350rwkw on a mainline dyno we have 98 octane in sydney on pump

so just front exhaust section and tune No pulley or any thing else.

is that good should i go a head with it is that a good gain for the mod's ??

u should at least get a pulley to go along with those mods.
if u dont want to upgrade your cooling, then go with one of the smaller ones.

Yea i will get a HE=pump for sure.

but for the mods that he wants to do just front section of the exhaust and tune is it a good power gain "?

headers and primary cat delete will give good gains with a tune but u are selling yourself short by not doing the pulley as well.

I like how you're thinking and I thought I was the only odd ball. If I ever get the mod bug I will start with the exhaust system first as I believe that there is atleast 50hp locked up from the headers all the way to the mufflers and you will need a tune due to the new lungs. Then see how your car runs, you will find that it will be faster and more responsive.

My tuner said that coz we run 98 octane on pump the car with just the front exhaust section done and a tune we could see 460 to 470rwhp on a mainline dyno with out the pulley.

He is now working on a pulley as well which will work well on the car in are part of the world not to big and not to small. He will be doing testing soon
