E63 vs. C63

Guys, I am trying to do my research on the E63 and see that it is rated at 507HP/465TQ @ 4000lbs.

Now, with full bolts ons and a tune, do you know if this car can hit 500rwhp? When I mean full bolt ons, I mean headers, mid-pipe, filters, TB and tune. How is the gearing in the 7spd tranny different from the 5spd in the E55. I would imagine they are more aggressive in the first few gears to compensate for the lack of tq.

Lastly, I noticed that the C63 has 451HP and is also a 63 motor vs. the E which has 507HP, what is the major difference since the motor is the same I would imagine? Would a full bolt on E63 outrun a full bolt on C63 which is alot lighter.

Only mods which give u great power to the 63 are LT's & tune, followed by possbily airbox. That is it to date, there is the underdrive pulley, but not sure about that one

think you get up to 460-470whp

rest will have to come from weight reduction i.e wheels/brakes

as for the gear box it is like a 5 speed with 2 over drives (from what i have heard) might be better top end

as for C63 it is detuned and has some exhust restriction

If you are looking for power, get an E55 mod it and you will have a faster car & still have spare $$$ (They are very little differences other then engine/gearbox)

do the front conversion of 07+ and your good to go

Bruce @ TTmotorsports just finished up doing some mods to my car which is a 2008 e63 and we got 464rwhp from a 408dyno stock .

I bet if we went long tubes 500 hp is in our reach , mind you that we left 2 stock cats and put 2 kleemannn cats in and we still have resonator in place .

and they are the same motors just throttle restricted .

E class 350
question

can I add mufflers from an 2008 E63 w211 on a 2009 E class 350 (W211) with the resonator already deleted and replaced with an X pipe and get the same sound of an 2008 E63 W211 ? C63 muffler or an e63 muffler?

Jesus Christ man. Was it really necessary to bump 13 old threads in different section to ask this exact same question in each one?

edit: My bad, only 12 bumped threads. He also made a new one in the standard W211 section.
