Speeding tickets.......if you're not careful.
I've had mine for only 5 months now and have only had an issue with the keyless go, covered under extended warranty(GM). Just do your due diligence on finding a clean, cared for car and do a search in the forums, theres about 5000 of these questions in there.

my friend I was asking the same questions but instead of giving you some smart *** comment I will respond. what I have found out is that the SBC or brake system on these cars will sometimes go bad and act up, second would be the air supension, an I guess that can run about 4500 in a worst case. But yea there are some douches on this forum, but don't worry there are some cool guys as well. one idiot told me it costs 30k to replace the motor
Just a hint if people have asked 5000 times, maybe make it a sticky

Whatever, yeah maybe somewhat a smartass answer, but to be truthful, these things do haul *** and are fun to drive over the speed limit as well as any other time you are in them. Forgive my fun loving nature, I'm still trying to drive the smile off of my face, its only been 5 months.
Maybe you'll understand one day, Silkstang. I hope so.
BTW the keyless go fix was $1900.00 for a door handle and a module, but its really cool to have. I would recommend a car with this option.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Another problem for me is I couldn't wipe the smile off your face. I'm always smiling and grinning like an idiot (after a drive). Make sure you have warranty on your car. These cars are pretty bulletproof but they have so much gadgets that can go wrong and the dealer cost so much for repair hence the need for warranty.

thanks guys, i used to have a 2004 E500, and lucky to drove my friend 2004 e55 for 6 months, i know exactly how fun is it , btw, also my E500 had air suspension problem and i paid $700 for repair, my friend's e55 had lower mileage than my car and he only had supercharger's clutch problem but his car was just 40k mile when he sold it, i mean its fine just,.....the clutch off and on whatever it want, is it common problem? i dont see anyone mention about it, so.... key less, suspension, supercharger's clutch and what else?
Oh yeah, and how about those service a, b, c.....etc, can i do service and reset at home? when i still had my e500 no one here know how to reset the warning yet =) i hope someone know how to do it now, its really anoying me
