Scuderi Engine

This brought back college memories. Made me want to drink, not out of hatred of thermo but of the good times with the bros and (do the math). Anywho this is just SICK! It's such a simple yet brilliant concept. I've been going nuts with ideas of what to do what could be done with the transfer passage to make more power. First link has two great vids, second is their own website.

That's going to need some serious engine mgmt sw to keep it running right. The pressure and temps will be all over the place, potentially from one cycle to the very next. Interesting concept. With the given power advantage, It'll be a balance of efficiency, reliability, and package size.

In a nutshell the "compression" cylinder is building pressurized air which is then being forced into the firing cylinder (not sure on the specific names of the cylinders) thus creating a huge bang!
