Looking for Wheel Suggestions...
Hi first post here. I will be buying a gunmetal grey 2004 AMG E55 in about a months time and have begun looking at other wheels as personally I think the stock 18's are a bit plain.
I'd like to keep them looking like the AMG "style" ideally with some grey in them but am not sure if I should stick with 18's and just swap over the tires, 19's or 20's.
Here's the site I've been looking at as the prices seem good: http://www.mercedesbenzwheel.com/e-class-w211-4/
Question for you all is what size would you recommend as the existing 18's do seem pretty "tight." Also what size of tires should I go with if I put on 19's or even 20's?
Again total newbie here so forgive me in advance if these are silly questions. This will be my first MB and I've aspired to have one for over 20 years and now's it's come true.
Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.

i would go with the Monarchs to keep with the AMG look - all those others listed on the site look kinda cheap.
everyone says 19s are the way to go as you won't give up too much in ride quality and won't lose as much performance.
and then once you slap some new shoes - lower it - so many options now days.
i just burned through another set of tires so i am leaning towards a new set too - just need to pull the trigger.
welcome!

Thanks Mike. Regarding Monarchs could you link me to them or should I just google the name? I agree that a +1 19" is a nice compromise.
Regarding sidewall and width for 19's, what would you recommend front and back (if they're staggered) for a 2004 E55?
Again total newby here!
Thanks again.

Just get the ones that I'm selling and call it a day. You'd be very hard pressed to find a nicer, better quality wheel at the price I'm asking. Plus they were custom made for a W211. Fitment is guaranteed.
