Odd Accessory
I was browsing through the manual, and I noticed a part that is "?standard?" on e-class sedans.
Its listed as a "Luggage Box" and looks to be a wood/particle board insert that sits on top of the spare tire in the trunk and can be secured with fastening clips.
I've never had it on my vehicle, is it a standard item? If so, does anyone know the part number?
Thanks.

MB has a number of trunk accesories, including the trunk box and rails that help organize things. None of it is "standard" but all of it is available through the MB dealerships. i do not keep up with international Accessories, only US.

It doesn't look like an accessory since it is in the 2007 E-Class manual rather than the accessories catalog.
I suppose it is not standard on US vehicles? and not present?
I bring up this question because I've removed the spare collapsible tire and need something to hold up the floor mat for items that have some weight.
Anything to help gas mileage is a good thing.
