Yet another exhaust suggestion...
I already have the resonator removed but still want a bit more sound. I'm planning to remove my secondaries this week. The guy at the shop told me that he can get rid of my primaries as well. He said that he will space out the 02 sensors and that shouldn't trip a CEL... What do you guys think?
Also, he is going to use 3" inch stainless steel pipes. As I understand the stocks are 2.75". Will this somehow mess up the exhaust flow since half of the exhaust will be stock 2.75" and the other half will be 3"? Any input?
In terms of power, do you think catless exhaust will yield 15 rwhp?
Thanks

i have the secondaries removed and i think it sounds great. with the primaries it sounds very raspy and "untuned" and i think it loses the european sound with primaries removed...just my opinion

When you remove the 2nd cats do you see a increase on fuel, or do you not notice?
The reason i ask is my mate has an cl55k with only 2nd cats removed sounds amazing but drinks alot more than my e55k.

removing your secondary cats will yield minimum results in sound. removing primaries will yield a minimum hp gain. removing both will likely give you the sound you're going for but without tuning will cost you tq/hp.
