That depends on how aggressive your tune is. Honestly if you are just turning it in than its not that big of a deal "for you". IIRC the ECU can pull timing better than it can add it. So generally speaking.. if its not some crazy aggressive map, the knock sensor should pick up any knock and then add or dump fuel, pull timing accordingly.

If you are not getting on it hard, you should be ok, I would think.

Whatever we're tuning!
Like Mike wrote, it really depends on how aggressive the file/tune is and also how extensive the "de-moding"(new word I think) was.

Like Ahmad wrote, just put it back to stock...end of story Jangster!

PS Ahmad praying you get good weather on the 30th!

i know someone that had a renntech pulley/headers/tune car and he parted it out and left the ECU the way it was. car ran perfectly fine when he gave it back.

Problem is that PC Tuned my car or VRP or Vadim or whoever that was and it is a pain for me to do it. MB even said I could just tow it in . I figured it would run a little hot and maybe rich if anything but it would at least run and I really don't feel like dealing with PC. i'm already not looking forward to going to reclaim my OEM stuff...
