You may be running a smaller belt.

Whatever we're tuning!
Check the belt size. I use the Dayco Poly Rib Gold Label p/n 5080515 with our 180mm pulley package.

Take a look at the tensioner too.

Does it start to shred when you are stomping it?

More info!

also as mentioned above make sure you are running the proper size and check the tensioner.

Sounds like a pulley alignment issue. Do you see any of your pulleys wobbling or misaligned?

Whatever we're tuning!
I cross referenced a Gates belt for the 180mm pulley application and came up with Fleetrunner Micro V p/n K080514HD or the regular AT Micro V p/n K080514.

That is a belt alternative but why is it shredding in the first place?

Something else caused the belt failure!

Pulley should NOT be wobbling at all!

They don't all wobble.

K080514HD is what I use on my car now. I've also used the Goodyear Gator belts in the past and they worked great, I was told that I should not use them so I went to the Gates greenback belt. I did not notice any difference...

3 belts in one day is a pulley / alignment / tensioner problem. It is not the belts.

When u say wobble is it 1-2 mm out of true or more? If more don't drive your car until u have the pulley and the other bits looked at thoroughly.

Is it shredding the ribs from the inside out or is it shredding from side to side? Side to side-> most likely alignment, Inside out-> tension maybe too loose or too tight or maybe there is an issue with your supercharger getting hot and getting harder to rotate?

Just some thoughts. Have you talked to LET or the vendor you got it from?

Hmmmm ... Belt braking is an issue I've had the pleasure of learning a lot about, with bikes.

3 belts in one day? I find it hard to believe the alignment could be THAT off to be shredding belts off and I'd expect to see some thrown belts first.

On a bike when the alignment is way off you get a tearing break because the tension is greater on one side. But in a serpentine system like these, I can't see that happening.

Just to throw another possibility out there ...

You aren't by any chance seeing burn marks inside belts or around the breaks are you? Smelling a lot of burnt rubber? How's everything running prior to breaks?

With the belt off ... have you checked to make sure everything spins freely that should?

Almost sounds like something is seized to me.

Just thinking out loud...
