Not bad looking for the miles...
The driver seat looks fairly worn...
at 59k miles any warranty would be very usefull.
Does not look like its been modded (stock wheels) no ELM, which is a good thing I guess.
Do what you can to get some sort of warranty included.
Nice to see a non silver benz!

I like the car, but it seems like it has been on Ebay for a long time though always starting out at $200.

I had made him an offer like 3 months ago...he has been trying to get rid of it for the longest. According to him, he won't take anything less than 28K. Car has no options.

+1 I made an offer as well. It is a base car and does not even have navi. The headlight are beat. He said they need replaced and that they are hazy. He smoking crack. He said the same to me 28k is as low as he will go.

Bingo...Looking at it now the most I would give him is 24K...and that's crossing lines. I found my 04 loaded with every option, clean!! for 25K. Took me a while but patience is key.

The used car index is on the rise- at its highest overall levels in a long long time. His car is not generally what the index is derived from but maybe he just doesnt care and will just sit on it. At some point- a white E55 will go to a higher bidder- its just a more sought out color IMHO.

I offered this guy 22500 which is the average wholesale price right now, needless to say I ended up buying a different white E55 with virtually every option except parktronic for 24500. He IS smoking crack if he thinks he can pull 28k for that thing.

Got lucky I guess, I was really patient and came across the right one. I bought it off of a private seller in Chicago. He had it listed on ebay for 30K and it never sold. Told him I would buy it @ 24500 and I flew up to Chicago within the week. Funny thing is, I had been watching the Adesa Auction and hadn't seen an E55 in awhile. Of course, an 04 with 50K came through and sold for 22k. It probably evened out in the end with auction fees, taxes, etc... Plus it was Gold and I like my white better.

I just picked up an 06 with just a few more miles then that from a dealer in Houston for 26K and that was near perfect 1 owner car that looks like it has never been on the road when I put it on the lift.

Had to put new rears on it, E service, brake fluid change, front left engine mount and a couple other small things. Overall very happy with it considering it's an 04.

Yes sir, the CL is gone. But I will build me another rocket one of these days. For now this will be the baby cruiser. In terms of your car sounds like you picked a nice clean car. White is just to die for. Congrats!
