just for my info..
what was the ambient temps during your runs.. I'm guessing high 40's or low 50s?
One thing is for sure.. 55k cars love cool air... and IAT's don't really become a problem at that temp. However anything over 80F and man it start killing power the faster you go.
I'm guessing if you run this M5 in the summer months.. outcome will slightly favor the M5.
Thanks for the video, and be safe.

i like atco more then etown now.....i used to like etown more. but it seems that it's always a hassle, wait for inspection et etc then only get 2 runs in if i get there at 7.

Thats what i mean, cant remember getting anything more than 3 runs..then atco is a long ride from NY...
By the way, AMGG04 did MTHIS get his tires yet so he can beat me with that C? He better hurry b4 i move on to the next Mod.

atco is better in terms of that. i usually get there at 6:30 and can get 4 runs in and sometimes even more. it opens at 5 but there are alot of cars in the beginning usually....

So have I. I drove the car dude(c63). My friend with the C63 went 12.3 @115mph at Atco and my friend with the M6 went 12.3 at 117mph at etown. There very close up until 150+. He ran a 12.5 with his old M5 so it's not a major difference. I don't know how fast you think the M6 is supposed to be but from what I have seen that is what they run. Low 12's. And the traction control @60mph is not much of a factor on the M6. I have driven has plenty of times to know. Bottom line, All of these cars are close in a race.
1.) The C63 and the M6 rana 12.3 and there respective mph on the same day at the same track right? If so that would mean the M6 is moving 2 mph faster at the 115mph the C63 is moving at, that is enough for the M6 to beat it, but you were saying 150+ the M6 doesnt start moving away from it?
2.) The M6 from i have heard and been reading is a bit faster than a M5. Comparing ET's that you are from a M5/M6 on different days doesnt really show much in terms of power/speed.. But i havent seen a M5 race a M6 in person.
3.) E55AMGG04 has raced 2 M5's with about the same exact outcome as shown in the video here. And he has raced 3 stock C63's with about the same outcome, he pulls on them every SINGLE time in stock trim, the latest one coming on the highway a few nights ago.
So if hes basically neck and neck with M5's and pulls on stock C63 enough to show car lengths, i dont understand how a M6 was barely pulling up until 150+mph.
Just confused, and that is why i mentioned either he isnt driving the car correct, of the car isnt running right.
Just my thoughts.

I think it's gonna be etown. Atco is just to far. Most of us will be coming from work so to drive almost 2hrs from the city to ATCO is to much. etown is only about 30 minutes away for us.

M5ranger on the M5board is in the Miami area and I believe he has 2 M5's.
One is a fully modded ASR M5 with a nitrous setup, which I believe is currently getting modded with turbos.
The Ranger is ALWAYS willing and eager to "play" if you want to hook up with him...

LOL,
I was actually a little surprised at how well the M5 fared against the vaunted E55 down low.
I have always believed the E55 to be a monster, even more so than the E63, due to the tremendous torque from the dig.
I believe the new treads probably gave the M5 a slight advantage, but both very fast and respectable cars...

I like how M5Board commented on youtube "I dont know. What's a "CM30 IC pump"?
I bet he is skeptical about the results because of the CM30 IC performance enhancing pump because BMW can never lose
