Low 11 E55 at HRP?

Saw a black E55 at HRP run a 11.28 @ 126.xx tonight. I think the car had alot more in it, it left on a soft launch and hit the brakes before the finish.

Damn great time for hitting the brakes! I wonder why he would hit the brakes??? Hopefully he's a member here on MBW and will chime in. That's a very strong running E55.

Whatever we're tuning!
Great package Tag!

Now run that thing out at a private track rental so you don't get tossed!

Duuuuddeee!! I will cut you some slack since your are a noob , but if you cut a 10 sec non NOS 1/4 mile, you would have doing something that SO MANY of us have been trying to do for years and years .....and thousands and thousands of $$$ trying to accomplish and always come a tick short.

http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Benz--E55-AMG-Drag-Racing.html

You totally didn't know this, so no biggee my fellow E55 brotha.....but as long as you don't get banned from the track forever (maybe just the night), it would be worth it to get the boot and literally be hoisted on the shoulders of MBWorld E55 fans worldwide.

I mean it. I am at the 30K$ mark (started modding when prices were out of this world) and it just may never happen for me.

I am beggin you........for all us guys that try year after year.....PUT US OUT OF OUR MISERY AND GET INTO THE 10'S SO WE CAN ALL STOP TRYING TO BE THE FIRST!!

Amazing times and car!!!

Wow! Tag, that was you out there? All makes sense now. I have been hearing about all the big time ,1000hp+, Houston racers picking up 55`s and 65`s like candy recently and just modding the F out of them in a matter of weeks.. Damn, with guys like you running Benz`s, the alusive 10 second record will fall any day.. I hear it will be in the 40`s next week. Looked like a 2.xx sixty foot on the easy launch.. Nice mph on the early brake. To bad you got booted.

I also heard some of the head porters have been jammed up with Benz head work.. Hmmm, I better get busy.. You fricking guys keep the pressure on

The weather sucked last night with 94-100% hum. I am calling discount for some ET streets II`s today..

That's a killer run. Put up a timeslip if you can. It'd be awesome to analyze and compare with others.

nice to see another LET tune putting down solid times and trap speed.

I do have to admit, my first flash from LET was good, but there was something missing.

Once Jerry was able to adjust the torque managing system.. the tune was truly complete.

If that's the case this car should run 10.6-10.7 with a good 1.6xx launch at a full throttle run. This would by far be the fastest trapping LET tuned car by a long shot....besides Ahmad.
The 2.00 plus was a just a guess by me on what I saw to be a soft launch.. It was very humid(track was wet), some cars stuck and some were slipping.. I just know that black E55 was moving well and pretty quiet going down the track.. The ET time is a way from the 10`s but that MPH was what caught my eye.

I was thinking this is some crappy weather and if that car takes off hard, stays in it, it could be a 10 second car..

Agreed! His car is definitely a monster and I'm sure he'll be in the 10's with a good 60' launch.

Sorry if I offended you but I didn't mean it in a negative way. I was just going by what I've read and seen here on MBW.

Looked like a jab at LET to me . l
Whatever...you guys are so fricken sensitive it's amazing. It was not a jab but take it which ever way you want, I don't care and I'm not going to get into a big debate over what I did or didn't mean.

Jerry, I apologize if you or anyone else took it as a jab. It was not meant that way regardless of how others read it.

To the OP, once again nice runs and good luck with 10's. This is also my own personal goal and hopefully I'll meet it sometime this year or early next.

BTW...I deleted that post Exotic to avoid any further arguments or debates over this matter.

Alan, thank you for the PM and I now deleted my opinion on the matter as well. My topic was about a car`s ET, plain and simple, no mention of a any tuner.

Mr Ricker, stop kissing Bassn`s **** , as it will not give you anymore dyno power , ET or relinquish the troll name you have built for yourself. I see you are also trolling several other forums on the net. Stay on topic and we will get to you later..LMAO! You are a funny troll!

Great run Tag, can't wait to see what she does sans the brake check. Maybe we need to get enough guys together to rent the track sometime.
