Sticky Situation

I accidentally spilled some soda on my console area, and some got into my shifter/keyless-go button, which was kind of sticky at first but was working OK for a couple weeks. Now that the soda has dried out some more, it's REALLY sticky, and the button doesn't really work at all. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had similar issues and what it might cost to get fixed. I so loved keyless go, but now I gotta actually TAKE the keys OUT of my pocket?!?! I forgot how convenient it was until it stopped working. Luckily, though, none of the electronics other than the actual keyless-go button seems to have been affected. Any info would be great.
