Hey, after a run-in with the law
,
I decided to install a camera in my car
.
After spending countless hours looking a camera mount,
I realized none of the ones for sale would be able to suit my needs.
Solution??
Make my own.

my only problem was hooking up the power supply.
i wanted to hook everything up in the trunk,
but theres no penitrations in the wall separating the backseat to the trunk,
at least i didnt see any because i have too much crap in the trunk....
so i ended up buying a power inverter and running a standard power extention from the power outlet in the back to the top of the headrest

i ended up channeling the cable behind the seat by the door jam.
i have just the plug for the camcorder hooked uo behind the left headrest.
im looking for somewhere else to stick the cords that way it doesnt look at nasty.
also, im looking for a different spot to hook up the power inverter because its really inconvienent where its currently located, not to mention its not too appealing to the eyes.
but anyways, heres so final pics of my 'temperary' hookup until i come up with a better setup for it.
any feedback would be nice.
oh and yea, i have tested the mount.
done launches with it, drifted and done donuts with it and the camera DOES NOT move at all.
just cant wait to take it to a road track to give it a try.
the footage should be amazing.

Or you could have gone with something a bit simpler to install... I have one and it works great.
