I am going to say I'm a healthy 55 cauz i have proven it numberous times. I'm going to atco raceway JUST FOR YOU (HAMMER DOWN) because that track has fast times. My buddies E55 stock put 119mph there too.

However West coast tracks close to sea level in the winter can equal the East. The fuel is definately at issue as we do not have 93 octane and it is readily available everywhere else.


No need to fight the cars are close and that race 99% of the time would be driver determined.

The splits are interesting and whether the E55 is healthy or not both cars are equally powered which is a step in the right direction for the 6.2 NA

I ran one of the fastest E55's today in good weather here in Florida. His name is Vinnyz. He ran an 11.2 the day I ran 11.4. His car has always been stronger than mine until we installed the MHP L/T's and tune. Now he can't get away from me. We ran numerous times today and we are dead even to 130. Vinny's car is very strong right now. I ran today with 93 octane so there is more. a Z06 last night did 12.1 at 122mph ??? Something was wrong last night and I don't really believe it was all on me. I will go to another track and I will be more prepared next time. Three years ago, a heavily modified E55 was one that was indeed a stage 4 Kleemann or Stage 5 RennTech, which more or less consisted of:

1) Pulley + Tune
2) Headers
3) Cooling mods (mainly Heat Exchanger and aftermarket pump)
4) Throttle Body
5) Bigger Air Boxes

Those mods were widely accepted for a while, and were offered by most aftermarket companies: VRP, FD, RennTech, Evosport, Kleemann, etc... However, throughout the last year or so, the game has changed. A "truly heavily modified" E55 now consists of the same exact list but with more powerful mods:

1) Bigger Pulley (180mm instead of 168 mm) + [/b]Custom Tune[/b] (not Box Tune)
2) Long Tube Headers and maybe more exhaust work...
3) More Cooling Mods Bigger HE and/or Rear-Mounted Reservior
4) Bigger Throtle Body (true 82 mm) instead of 78 mm (also called 80 mm)
5) Revised Air Boxes and Tubes.... Air Boxes mainly remained the same but they have been Revised at least 3 times.

With this new configuration, many E55s are hitting 540 to 550 whp on relatively conservative dynos. So as you can see, what was once considered "heavily modified" is now only "mediumly modified" if there is such a word. Bassn_07's car, for example, is a good example of this new "heavily modified" model and his car runs very consistent 11.0x @ 130 to 131 mph and seems to get stronger the faster it goes
