Orleans E55 runs low 11`s !

I met this guy a month ago, at the Eurocharged dyno Tune in Victoria TX.. He drove all the way from New Orleans to have Eurocharged dyno tune his car and we were all impressed with his tenacity!

Quick Story, 8-10 of us AMG`s drove together to this dyno tune.We caught up to a silver E55 with LA plates and all the sudden one the E`s from Texas runs up and goes for a little pre-tune testing..lol If you no what I mean, and the La car was more than game.. Next, a few more line up and the test goes one for miles.. Even I gave it a little burst or two..wink, wink.. The car was quick and none of us knew who it was or what he was doing out int he middle of texas.. Of course Jerry from Eurocharged was way in the back (rent a chevy) laughing, as he knew why the guy was there.. He drove for the dyno tune!

I heard about his run and since he does not post or very often, asked if I could post his pics and time slips. It was a damn nice run and a nice story to go with it.. Great guy and he has a true passion for racing..

Pic 1) As you can see the weather was nice, as the motor iced up in the staging lane..

Pic 2) Nice burn out to blow the ice off.

Pic3) Time slip from a track with a damn cool name..lol

Pic 4) Is run from last night (11.32 @ 122 mph)

I hope the racer does not mind, but here are the mods I knew were on the car.. 180mm Pulley, HEM headers, no cats, cooling mods and Eurocharged custom dyno tune.. The car left the dyno tune day making 520 RWHP!

Yes, it had a stock TB, before you ask..

A Prius because I'm green
Nice run for a stage two, it's online with what I do in cool weather but I wonder if he has a high throw torque converter he's trapping low?

E55, Supercharged Z4 (sold)
Great run! HEM's are shorty headers? Bascially improved exhaust manifolds?

Gee, I sure wish I had a 180 pulley lol Just messing around

Same here, I am just hoping the TB opens it up top and my 3rd gear like a few others that I have ran with. Hopefully I can then find an M6 to play with haha!

He does not have an aftermarket stall converter. The MPH is a little low from having a stock TB on the car.. Drag radials helped the 60 ft..

When he adds the TB, the car will have a second life in it..

I totally agree about the second life but I have the stock TB and DR's and trapped 123-125. I'm just curious since you didn't know all his mods but it's still close to what I run I'd just like to see him run faster to give me some hope on a nice day haha.

I see your Sig. now.. Different tracks, weather and weight.. Based on your ET and depending if you had any tire slip, a 1.64 would get you close to his ET but with more mph.. I see he has a panoramic roof. Not many people post race weights, so it gets hard at times compare.. One reason I wanted to see this cars times up and mods that I know of.

A converter would not knock 2-3 mph off an E55 mph. Our peak torque comes in so low, that it is a waste to go to wild on a converter.. A 400-600 rpm increase in stall would probally increase mph some.. why? Because 60 foot would be lower (early momentum) and the rpm would stay in optimum HP range down the track, thus average hp on the run would be higher = same or more mph..

Sorry about pic 3,, it posted small and I must have deleted it trying to get it larger..I will re-post it and try to make it larger soon..

Awesome run Cutt, I've run the No Problem road course quite a bit and its a good time as well. The guys (if there the same ones its been a few years) out at the track are great guys and have a very nice facility. Let us now how the TB wakes her up.

It was a 1.47 on a true slick in my CLS 63.

Do you really wish to ruin another thread? Amazing Eurocharge/Let would allow you to be a dealer. You are selling a product and doing everything you can to scare away potential customers with unprofessional comments in a variety of threads.
