Basic car lowering question

I've looked at most of the information here and have narrowed things down to Star Diagnostics, Adjustable links or a Carlsson LM.

I talked with a mechanic who said he could do the Star, but really wouldn't do any lowering because the car drops another 2" at above 80 mph.

Is his statement correct and has anybody had a problem above 80 mph?

I'm going to run some SL65 rims (like MJ50 ).

Mine is getting Star lowered as we speak. I will ask when I pick it up but he made no mention of that.

Go with the carlsson. Yes the car lowers more at speed. I run my carlsson on its max setting on sport 2 and im always above 80 mph.

There's a sticky with How To Using STARS. Wish i saw this before i bought my renntech elm v2. I'm getting it installed next week.

Really not sure how it works when above 60mph and lowers itself automatically. Will have to ask the installer this question as well. Also will ask if i have the sport 2, will it lower more or not.
