Who drives your car?

I just wanted friendly feedback if you do/do not let either of the two drive your car:

1. Wife
2. Valet

Always me and RARELY the valet, but only because I know them personally and wouldn't let any random one drive it.

My wife rarely drives my car because she is afraid she will damage it and I will come unglued. She might be right.

I used the valet at dinner last weekend. I worried about the car through the whole meal. I guess I am **** about the car and the wife is right again.

Wife = Never. It's her choice. She doesn't like the car and is afraid I'll go nuts if she curbs a wheel or something. She's right.

Valet = Sometimes. Depends where I am. But, very nice cars are a dime a dozen here and an E55 doesn't even get noticed parked between the Bentley's, Masaratis, Porsche's, etc.

Girlfriend - Yes, but she doesn't want to, she's afraid of the rush of power when she presses the accelerator. So, she drives the C Class instead.
Valet - Never, I'll park it myself

Certain girlfriends
Valet- once in a blue moon, and I'm with cal I worry the entire time and it affects how much fun I can have (something must be wrong with me). I just tip them so I can front park her if possible.

I also have a few friends I trust I let drive her, usually I require a swap for their car (M6, C6, M5, you know something fun)

His wife crazy
Wife = Yes, she has driven all my cars, but is afraid of having an incident in the Benz. She also knows where to park to avoid door dings and other parking lot hazards.

Valet = Never.

Wife drive the E63, she hate the E55.
I only let Valet drive it if he park it close where I can see it. I once let valet park my 997 turbo at Space Needle and he parked it right in front.

Same thing here about the better half and my rides. I can 2nd your sentiments about parking via the valet. I have had two different sets of HRE's curbed by supposedly reliable valets at reputable restaurants. But at the same time I hate to be that guy who drops off the car to the valet and then eye parks the car. It is just a car but we have worked hard to have such nice cars.

The IS-F is the mall, restaurant, and movie car Well the M3 can be too.

E55, Supercharged Z4 (sold)
Girlfriend - Whenever she wants. With ESP I'm not worried at all and I find it really cool that she loves power but is a defensiver driver at the same time. Coolest/scariest thing was watching her fly down the drag strip

Valet - I'm from East TN. What the hell is a Valet?

Friends etc - Depends on my mood and how responsible I feel they are. On the one hand I want them to punch it especially if they aren't accustomed to AMG's but on the other I don't want somebody wearing it out driving like a jacka$$

Wife = Another her choice not to. For some reason she declines when I ask her if she wants to. I think she is afraid she might like it and her Toyota will be old news!!!
Valet = NO!

Wife - whenever she wants to - she's gone from being afraid of it to actively requesting to drive it - I knew I was in trouble when she started texting me kill stories when I was out of town.
Valet - never again
Friends and family - whenever they want to - with friends I do the "ESP off" demo - scares the S*&T out them and then they baby it. Family - my parents wont go above 60 and my brother well, here's a quote "man, I don't know how you do it - I looked down and I was doing triple digits, made a concious effort to chill. . .and I was still doing triple digits". The fight with him is always over the motorcycles - I feel much better about him in the 55 than on the bikes.

Wife - Yes. I think it's funny when she says I don't know why but the car really want's to go since the last time I drove it. All I did was put super in it. I can't wait until it gets the mods -

Valet - Never. I know it's only a car but I enjoy my car and I like taking pride in it, I know what these knuckle heads do.

Son - NO. He drove it once with me in it, and I know what will happen if I let him take the car out alone.
I gave him a ride and I laid into the peddle, and he said "HUMM I got second thoughts about lineing up against it with my car" (it's an S4 with a few mods) I'm pretty sure I got his car covered but once the "E" gets the mods I'll give the S4 a spankin!
