Thanks guys! I was going for a stock/clean look originally (hence the Wald bodykit/wheels) but this new "murdered" out look is growing on me
RenntechE55: the wheels are light, not sure of the exact weight though. Godfather would know
tbone: I been debating on painting my calipers but cant decide on a color. I really like the look of the stock silver on my car Any suggestions?
Bellevue_E55: Yes it's a 500. I have a custom exhaust w. Magnaflow tips. I plan to do an Eisenmann set up next
g354080: Tectite Grey
blackbenzz: Proud New Image member since 2001!

Stefan, as I said in the other thread, the wheels look ill!!!
It's funny to see all of you here who have PM'ed me and emailed me asking about the wheels. I have some good new for you all: I'm offering FREE SHIPPING until Jan 31st, AND free Carbon Fiber Caps. See this thread for details:

So after a year of repeatedly repairing cracks and bends on my 20" Wald wheels, I've decided to downgrade to 19s for now. I use this car daily and with these NJ/NYC roads, 20s are simply impractical.
After some research and reading helpful threads from this board ( The Godfather), I settled on 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rear Forgestar F14s Matte Black wrapped with Toyo 275/30/19 245/35/19. For the price, these will work as a perfect spare/winter set
I will post better pics later but for now here are some quick shots:

I am also giving up on 20" and looking to get the same rims as yours. How long have you had them? Currently they don't have any in stock. Let me know how they hold up.

Porsche 996TT, BMW 335i and NOW A 04' E55!!!
I just picked up a 04 Tactite grey E55. I have the adjustable arms on order to lower the car. How are you running this car that low? I thought you couldnt lower these cars past 1" without future problems with the air suspension?
I want the F14's in a 20", FYI

The wheels look fine on your car
But it's not a downgrade to go from 20s to 19s. It's an upgrade. The car even handles better with the stock 18s.
The AMG OEM 18" wheels are actually some of the best OEM wheels around (made by Fuchs), btw. Unsprung weight is still good (due to design and since they are 18s)
I've been bringing my E63 to some of the PCA DEs I attend and if I were trying to run 20s or 19s I'd be in trouble. (I even have some 17s for my P-car for AX and the track.)
Looks are one thing, but at a big sacrifice for ride quality and handling. So it comes down to priorities. Unfortunately it's also hard to find lighter weight quality aftermarkets in 18" with the right offset.

Crescendo: check my previous set up, my 20s looks like 22s
g354080: Lowered via adjustable links just like many other members in this forum
220S: Your right but I meant its a downgrade on looks not performance. 20s IMO are

My airmatic has a mind of its own....sometimes at it's lowest setting its somewhat low and other times its slammed like in that pic above.
I'm guessing it depends if the surface its being its being lowered at is flat and even...
One thing I soon plan to do it adjust the front links to lower it a tad bit to match the rear
