SL65 wheels are a direct bolt on, with a 275 rear tire you should have no rubbing issues even if you lower the car some amount. One member has his car very low with these wheels and notices a small amount of rubbing in some situations. Another member has the full amount of Star lowering and has no rubbing issues. I'm lowered a small amount and have no rubbing issues.

Not sure on CLS55 wheels

Mash,

I have my SL65 wheels on my E55 and they fit perfect, however the OEM 65 rear tire is a 285 and will rub if the car is lowered.

I have cls55 wheels on my car front offset is 28 rear is 25 or vice versa. My car is lowered with no rubbing issues. Once in a while the rears may rub on steep drive ways.

Marcus and Everyone,

Thanks guys...reason why I ask, although I already have wheels on my car (20" HRE's) i just got word HRE is having a sale on inventory and they have CLS, SL and E class wheels in stock.

I was going to get a new set and saw the ones I want are available for CLS and SL but not for E.

I have a 10.5" rear with a 285 and it rubs, and mine is pretty low with a RENNTECH ELM.

Thanks again guys...

DKM
