Fontana???
Hey all you Socal boys, any chance of getting Fontana for a rental any time soon? I know it's not the fastest track on the West coast but it's still fun. I'll be in LA a couple of times in the next few months and I'm hoping you guys could organize a track rental. I often visit LA to see the inlaws and the wife would have no problem with my playing with my friends....as long as its done at the track.
I know Sal can't make it to Famoso on the upcoming event but I'm sure he would attend Fontana. I don't care where I race that fast a@ SL as long as we run. I'm also hoping that we could get Chiromikey, Benzgal, Rick, and Benzboi to attend. We could all have a shoot out drag style where crossing the line first is all that counts. Screw all the other crap - Et's, traps, and whatever else comes along with all the drama. All of our cars are close enough to where the driver will determine the race not the car. What do you guys think? Any time in February would be good as I'm sure the weather would still be decent.

I think you're thinking of Irwindale. Fontana is a full 1/4 mile track located east of LA...I think. I've only been there once and even though there were hundreds of cars they still managed to keep things organized and staging lanes to a minimum. All though if we do a track rental there would be no wait. I think another member said it's fairly cheap when compared to other track rentals.

Yep, you guys are right. think I would know, lived 9 miles away from there for 3 years till I moved further north. I'm down for a run. Need to locate a nice set of DR for my stock wheels.

Great! I wish Norcal would show a bit more interest in running like you southern boyz! I think Mo plans on calling Fontana sometime this week and we'll most likely shoot for February when I'm visiting LA.
