Winter driving...
I will most likely be getting the w212 E63 when the lease on my M5 ends. I've run the M5 through the winter with snow tires and it holds up just fine.
I've done a search and found threads about tire setup.
But I am concerned about the lack of LSD, or am I being worried for naught?
Would appreciate any first hand feedback...

I installed a Quiafe LSD prior to first snow.... works great, though honestly i wonder if i could have gotten by with the stock open diff - No before/after comparison in snow.
with traction control/ABS, proper snows and smart driving, you'll be fine with or without LSD.

with ESP and snow tires, you'll be fine. Mechanical limited diff works wonders on the track, but in snow, electronic will still try to put power to the wheel with traction, which matters the most.
