different 55k engines, could it be !!!!
ok guys,shocking information. and i know some may not believe me.
but guys who have STAR can check it by themselves.
there are 2 type of 55k engines.
one is what most of us have. but the other one is the EVO edition.
even in STAR you can see there are diffrenet.
engine type is diffrent last three digits are (.995) for the EVO edition.
while the normal one is (.992 - .993)
also the assebely parts are diffrent for each of them. (which i mean tranny, etc)
and the third thing is that the front bumper is about 2cm lower ( which i mean bigger )
i asked a tech guy. and he said the EVO edition have different pistons and some parts in the engine.
in STAR (latest eddition ) in W211 you will see E55 Kompressor & E55 V8 Kompressor, which in the older version the second one was E55 Kompressor EVO.
however in the SL, it is still named as EVO edition.
anyone can feed us with more info ?????????????

because also the E55 has an EVO edition in the STAR. and i know there wasnt any E55 in 2007
and it was also there before the year 2007. which mean older models. and the front bumper is 2cm larger from the botom !!

as for regor60: i wish i was in US, so that i smoke ur car as much as i wish to ^__^.
we are sure enjoying the large crank pulley that no one installed in US till now :P

As for the E having it hmmm maybe retro fit? or a 030 package on that E same as the CLS which comes with bigger brakes, lower car, new steering wheel, rims, Speed limit adjusted to more then 260klm etc
and 3al baraka on the X6M ;p
