Help! How do I get the cupholder out?
I have a 2004 E55 with the old style cupholder. It is broken and will not pop up. How do I get it out to try to rebuild it?

Mine broke and I ended up taking it to the dealer. It was pretty cheap for part and labor.

I read a bunch of threads about people saying to just pull on it but I pulled on it pretty good and I felt like I was going to end up doing damage to something.
