10-4 it also lets out the heat that is trapped inside the engine compartment, not the whole thing just the part that covers the hood vents.

If I remember reading a thread on this a while ago, it is not good if you drive your car in the rain. Is that correct?

Hammer owned the car for 4 years now and it's only been in the rain once.

LOL....so that is correct though....cutting that open allows rain to get in the engine where it otherwise should not.

That's been my fear and the reason why I haven't done mine. I drive my car daily rain or shine...

My car is tuned for 91 octane and I'm thinking the fuel was burning way too slow for the timing my ECU would allow...not sure though.

I don't have my 2 best runs on tape this time but it really doesn't matter since I didn't break any of my PB's....

In a stock E55 3rd tops out at 124mph in 3rd according to the old Road & Track data sheets and a theoretical 131 according to a spread sheet I have. Depends on the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo. But this is using stock sizes. Tire wear would play a factor too as it gets smaller as it wears down.
