I have right around 45k on the odometer and I am starting to get a really bored with my car (the look of the car that is).

I love the 55k motor. I love the look of the CLS and so I've been on the lookout for a nice low mileage 2006.

What do you guys think?

I get bored easily too. Knowing exactly what you go through, I'd say go for it. Staying in the 55k family is a solid choice and cls body is just sexy. It's a new year, get a little change in your life

Cant go wrong with the CLS 55 imo. Sick motor and sweet dynamics, will keep you interested for another couple of years.

You will never get bored with the looks of the CLS this i can assure you.

It's probably going to be my next car. Or maybe an SL55 with the later front clip. Drive that till the 55 turbo comes out. FI FTW! I don't think I'll be selling the E though, just get a bigger garage...

I was watching that car. Beautiful car; great exterior color and low mileage. Interested to hear what you think of the interior (brown if I remember correctly) after you've had it a while. Great purchase.

According to the Autocheck report it was registered in the Palisades (my neighborhood); I've never seen or ever saw this car around. Also it doesn't say which dealer it came from. And there's nothing on the report since December of 2008. Do you know if South Bay was the original dealer? Are you now the second owner?

I'm curious only because apparently they built just 55 of these cars.

carfax shows it was purchased at MB South Bay in Torrance

And yes, there were only 55 built and of those 55, who knows what countries there in!
