Has anyone extended their lease with MB Financial?
Just wondering what people did with the E55 or E63 AMG at the end of the lease. Did you buy the car?

Has anyone here extended their lease with MB Financial? If so, what is the usual time period? Do they routinely up the payment because of difference in residual values from the original lease vs most recent calculation?

I'd appreciate anyone willing to share their experience.

Use the search feature. This topic has been discussed several times with owners who have extended/purchased.

Short answer, yes MBZ will work with you to a point on the residual value but you have to be willing to walk away and possibly get her back on the auction circuit.

won't let me extend, just purchase. But mine is not thru MB.

I had an '07 E63 and took it back to the dealer at lease end. The dealer has just a few days to send it back to MB Financial. Since the car was nice the dealer purchased the car and added a CPO. I turned down the offer they made to sell it to me. The offer was quite a bit less than MB Financial had made to me. If you want to keep the car this is the best way to go. If it goes to the auction there are all types of issues and no real savings possibilities for you. BTW, extending the lease is suicide, don't do it, your lease payment might actually go up. You can always purchase a new '09 for about 70K, that's what I did. Good luck.
