'06 E55 Paint Correction Fun
My weekend project consisted of removing all the swirl marks and some light scratches out of the E55. Used Menzerna Final Polish and a Lake Country orange pad first then followed up with Menzerna PO85RD on a LC green pad all on a PC. I had to get more aggressive on the trunk with some Megs Ultimate Compound first then the two Menz polishes. My LSP was dodo juice supernatural machine stick applied with a gold pad. Not a full correction, there are several deep scratches that I would need to wet sand and lots of rock chips on the front of the car that would require a wool pad and compound (but she's getting an E63 front clip down the road anyway). All in all it's a vast improvement and I'm satisfied for the time being to get the swirl marks out and get to an ~85% correction on her. I still need to do the headlights, fog lights and grill, clean the jams and seal them.
Hope you enjoy the pics, feel free to give any questions, concerns, advice, yelling rants...

Looks great. I wish I had the time and patience to do this myself. You can save a ton of money after your initial investment in products and hardware.
