totally sux. unfortunately you will make more on parting it out than selling as whole unless you find the right buyer. and correct me guys if i am wrong but you will only get back 1/3 of the price you paid on the mods. so is $55K what you are looking for?

can't wait to see pics as the car sounds amazing!

Arnold sold off alot of state assets but California is still billions in debt. I think the words he uses now are "Pleeeez feds give us our stimulus money!!!"

I would explain to your wife the term "unrealized or paper loss". Then, agree upon how much that loss would be considering your extensive mods. Once you come up with a number, split the difference and take her shopping with an agreement that you get to keep the car.
If that doesn't work, PM me...I'd be interested in taking it off your hands with all the mods intact.
