HELP Headers, exhuast problem

hi all,

i am hearing a small air leak and when i checked it.

i found that there is a small leak betwean the headers and mid-pipe.

the cause of it is one bolt that should go into one of the wholes in the headers is not tightened. because the whole rotaion (lines) are some how a bit damaged.

is there a way other than welding to make the bolt in and tightened without loosing after a while ?

any material can be used ? such as for water we use the white water tape.

or is there a way to fill the whole and tight the bolt so that we make a new shape fit with the bolt ?

Try Loctite Threadlocker it goes onto the screw and should hold it in place!

same thing happened to me -- it was a real pain because I had to take that header off and have it rethreaded --- only takes a few minutes with the right tap & die kit..

i think i will go with the thread locker, as it is faster to solve.

mmmmm i was thinking.

wht about tight it with the bolt.

and then weld it by lines, not full welding a cros the circle

will it affect or damage something ?
