Any DIY for HID lights?

I don't have time to make it down to HMS but I need to swap out a bulb. I plan on having them send it up, but I need a DIY cause I have NO idea what I'm doing. Thanks

Not the high beam, the normal nightime running light. It's an aftermarket set. I only need to replace the bulb. Thanks for any help.

Danny are you replacing the factory xenon ones, or aftermarket HID H7 ones? Regardless give me a call and i'll walk you through it.

Hey James, if you remember I bought the HIDs for my foglights from you. I'm trying to replace one of my aftermarket HID lights. If you can walk me through it on the phone I'd happily turn it into a DIY thread for everyone on here so everyone can benefit from it. I found it pretty odd that there wasn't a DIY for it already. Maybe it's just too simple for everyone here.

Can you PM me prices for bulbs? Is there a price difference between colors? Thanks

If it's factory xenon/bixenon lamps, it's quite simple (although most people try to make it sound difficult).

Twist off the cover (there's a long thin piece on it to twist) of the assembly.

Look into the hole; you'll see the HELLA box (black+yellow). It will say <- OPEN CLOSE ->. Twist to open, pull it backwards off the D2S bulb. Disconnect the wires from it. Look at the clips holding the bulb in; push them together, up, and slide them out. Bulb will pop out. Installation is the reverse of removal.
