yup there are some fast evos. i once ran an EVO with a 500awhp FP Red EVO IX and it went head to head with me.

this is me vs a big turbo EVO X. i slept on launch and didnt try too hard to beat it out of the hole, since i have already beatten him prior to this. where i launched hard and beat it right out of the get go... in this vid i catch him at about 900ft-1000ft

Both me and the E63 hit 160mph.. My needle hit 160 my passenger can be my witness hes on the forum. The e63 driver also said he hit 160.

I know my cars needle was directly at 160mph. This is the 4th time since i had the car I brought it up to 160.

I was in a bone stock M6 that hit 165mph. I dont know have no explanation for it .

If it helps back in the day my G35 coupe topped out at 142m my 08 G35x at 130mph. I dunno.

its all good.. I am just curious. When I owned my E55 an 2003 it would hit the limiter at 156 and just get stuck

That's actually a good point.... sometimes the speedo can be affected by a few mph at those speeds.

+1 the needle hit 160mph, it was pinned!!!

Most speedos by the time they get around those speeds are off by a couple MPH, im sure using GPS or some sort of measuring device will show the true speed.

chit i read the post sorry to hear . I had dropped my car off by Bruce to get prepped for MIR b4 it was cancelled and some crazy ***** sideswiped me . it was very light but it burned the chit out of me ,especially since the car was parked . Police report stated she suffered a personality disorder and was having an "episode" .

Thanks but I dunno how come guys run the car with traction off. Every race I always leave traction on and work with it. If u watch every vid I have I leave traction on.

I dunno bout the high speeds who knows. I'm just happy to see that the needle can actually point directly at 160 loll. Pretty cool.

yea I dont dare to take tc off,that will kill me speed,even at the track I run with it on.what tires are you runing?,I took mine out last night and got the thing to wheel hope in 3 with my envos.

My first time I went to the track and I went str8 from the hway into my 1st run it was 12.8 @ 113. I let the car cool off for 20 minz and next run was 12.5 @ 114.9 and I never broke the 2's on the 60 ft. I never really gave the car much time to cool down and it was my first time and I know I coulda done better.

A stock cls55 with cats removed ran 12.0 @ 117. He had the car off for about 1 1/2hr and had a sick launch and got great times. He said he had 15 years track experience.

Another stock e55 was there and it was his first time also and I don't think he did better then 12.8 and he was trapping maybe 2-3mph less then me. I think he will post himself about his times to correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anyone know what that whistling sound is in my car? It happens at very high speeds I think when I was on 160mph.

I found another video of a E55 doing 200mph and it makes the same exact sound as my car at very high speeds

Production variances and the fact that the 6.2 wasn't broken in (If I'm correct that supposedly happens around 8-10k miles. I noticed my 6.2 stopped burning a quart of oil every 1.5k miles when I hit 8k).
