My reasoning... I wanted a daily driver that gets pretty good MPG and is also utilitarian at the same time. With the back seat pushed down, there is a quite a bit of room back there.
I'm getting 30mpg on my recent road trips. I have put 1,000 on her in oh 2 weeks. I've felt pretty comfortable in it.
Every time I get into my CLS after a long road trip in the Mazda, i get scared at least once!
