Dealer tells me there there is not a shell under the trunks carpet liner in an e55. But mine just sags with nothing there to support the carpet liner. They originally ordered me one but I could not get it to fit so I took it back to the dealer....now all of a sudden they do not make one for amg's.

I am not buying this because the carpet liner had a latch/handle on top so it has to clip into something.

If anyone would be so kind and take a pic that would be great.

I don't know about your E55 but my E63 don't have any "shell" underneat the carpet either, just the top piece you see there. My 02 E55 is the same.
