2005 SAM location

Anyone know the location of the drivers side SAM< I assume its under the steering wheel area?

Trying to hook up Active xenons with harness from Steve.

His directions say

Blue connector connects to driverside SAM

Thanks mbTechny, I see what your talking about and I see the fuses and what looks like an ECU on the side closest to the engine. On the other side there is another module that can come out, closest to the outside of the car. But I don't see where the supplied connector connects. Does the fuse block lift oute out some how?

attached are pics of the connector.

From Steve of MBenzNL

the driverside SAM is the FUSEBOX with RELAIS that sits in the compartment that is acceseable from the engine compartment...you will have to take the lid of from that electrical compartment under the hood (near the driverside windshield) and remove the torx20s that hold the fusebox (SAM) in...you have to pull the SAM up (which will be a hassle as it has lots of wires connected to the bottom) and once you have a few of the bottomside of that SAM, you will see where to connect the levelling connector (that you will have to feed into that electrical compartment from the driverside cabin)

Steve's the Best!!
