sl63 vs CL600 question

You guys totally missed it,
Jimand has been killing 63's since 2007 in his 600.
After he kills one he always asks " hey guys what do you think would happen"

Yes , the tt v12 is gonna do just fine against the 63 as it would the 55 or any other benz platform. dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh

I don't own either of these cars, nor have I ever raced against an SL63. But from hearing that the E55 is even or even slightly faster than the SL63 this is my take.
You guys have all seen what my car does to a stock E55.
Earlier, that same day I raced against a CL600 "Renntech." Whether or not it was actually tuned with the Renntech ECU, I do not know. But I was on i95 and spotted a totally blacked out CL (black tail lights and rims). It was a 600 by the exhaust tips. He had Renntech badging on the back. He was dipping in and out of lanes once he saw my car and I kept trying to line up with him but he'd cut in and out. Finally we line up and both floor it (maybe not that clean of a start but it doesn't matter). I just slowly walked him from 60-140. Very similiar to the race with the MHP C63. I think the CL600 RT was a bit stronger, but not by that much.
I have nothing else to say, no arguments! Just telling you guys what it is, fully modded 63 vs modded 600 would be good race with the edge going to the V12TT, I believe.
Sorry, don't know much about stock 600's other than they should be faster than the SL55 from my driving experiences. And if SL55 is even with 63, then there you go.

I raced a CL600 here in Canada at Cayuga (dragstrip) numerous times. By the time we hit 200 km/h (124 mph) I was usually 2-3 carlengths ahead...
Even if he got a slight jump I was still able to catch up and pass...
I also raced an SL63 and C63s and so far have pulled on all of them from a 50 km/h roll and from a stop... Pulled a good car length on both C63 and SL63 from 50 to 220 km/h...
The biggest challenge so far between Mercedes has been a friend's slightly modded CL55 (no cats, custom tune and Johnson CM30)...

Juice I have not raced many times...and have not had many encounters. I got into it with an 08ish e63 a couple of years ago but tried against the sl63 different weight etc. and this time was highway. I have raced the cl600 against my now gone e55 and the cl won. but my dads sl600 flat out murdered my 55 but that is rennteched. anyone that says lol makes me say hahahahah
I like when the 63 is bashed , gives alot of folks a false confidence. I would be more interested in your 1/4 mile slips and would offer a bit less LOL, had you ever truly lined up a 63 using a timing system.
Your stock E55, the stock SL 63 and the stock CL 600 should all be close in performance and any race would be driver determined.

Why be so sensitive ? of course stock to stock, S65 will walk a E55K but not like the one in the video, that 55K might have IC pump problem.
I have raced to S600TT and walk him by almost 1 car distance. The 65 will walk 55 but def. not like this.

Agreed...Gustav doesn't like MB's, but it really seems like he DESPISES our E55s! He really relished the race between the K4 Kleemann and a stock M6. Ironically, we just had a thread recently that spoke of a K4 that doesn't even have cooling upgrades as an integrated part of the K4 Package--WTF??...NO WONDER THE M6 PULLED THE E55, THE E55 WAS PULLING TIMING TO PREVENT DETONATION!! And yes, we all know who King Kong is (65 cars), but that was a joke! that S65 put football fields on that HEATSOAKED E55 right from a dig.

Sun, I'm on my 19" street setup I can wait for you to get a comparable 19" or I'll just throw on my 16" clk Hoosier combo
