TPMS ??

So - I want to pruchase a set of wheels that do not support TPMS. Other than the fail light on the dash issue is there a real issue deleting that option?

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
I would strongly recommend keeping TPMS even if not the OEM system which I understand is problematic. My aftermarket system has saved me twice in just the past few months. Noticed one wheel was losing pressure and found out it was a bent rim. The other time was the same exact thing. I drive 300+ miles a DAY and tire pressure is something I take seriously with low profile tires. Life with 20s. Prior to this I lost BOTH of the rear tires due to low tire pressure which cannot be noticed at speed as they were 25 series and both were destroyed due to being too low-not at the same time of course. A TPMS would have saved me hundreds on just those two tires.

My setup cost me under $120 shipped and gives me the readout of each tire and has been very reliable so far.

How can a set of wheels not support TPMS?
You simply put the sensors in your new wheels.
