Dyno-ing tomorrow *now with results*
Yup. Its my turn.
Unfortunately its a mustang dyno, so I have a feeling I will be disappointed. Its no dynojet but the owner says it reads 5-7% lower than a dyno jet, so that may help with calculations to see if my 2003 is healthy.
All I have are green air filters (previous owner) and an LET tune via remote flasher.
A GT500 dyno'd at 385 wheel hp on this particular dyno, so Im hoping to be in that area.
I will update tomorrow.
Any tricks I should do before I go. Should I reset the ecu before the first pull or reset it in the morning and drive like crazy all day, then dyno?
Anyways, wish me luck and feel free to predict power. Closest member gets an internet high five.

do a couple of pulls to see where you stand, then reset to ecu to see if it helps.
Put the car in dyno mode and do the pulls in 3rd gear.
allow plenty of time to cool the car between runs.

do not reset the ecu,go there with your cars fuel trims running spot on.if anything do a few pulls and then do the sneaky ecu reset.
If you were talking about the sneaky reset then nevermind.

Results
first pull: 408whp 452 rwtq
second pull: 416whp 457 rwtq
third (right after second to see what heat soak does): 409whp 441rwtq
So, 416whp on this particular dyno is roughly 435whp on a dynojet
edit:
print screened it
God bless LET and their mail order tune!!!!

Very nice! I'm thinking of getting the LET flash tune, did you notice the performance gain or was it very nominal? I don't wanna get the pulley just yet...

unfortunately no, just 3 base pulls.
I know the owner/operator on a somewhat personal level and he was impressed at the smoothness of the graph, saying that shes running very healthy.
He has tuned my previous cars(400+hp civics), so i trust his knowledge
Heres his shop info:

what is the LET tune via remoter programmer. I am just picked a nice used )4 E55 and will be looking for a tune and some tasteful mods. I was reading on the K1 ECU flash. can you compare the 2. thanks
PS great run and strong car for so little Mods. I would love to be in that ball park when I get a chance to hit the Dyno.

did you do the tune your self. or did you send the ECU to someone. I know others have mentioned some MB dealerships even do tunes. I was more interested in how you did your tune. thanks

what do they charge and any feedback on them would be helpful . i do see alot of other cars with some of their mods. I am new to the E55 world and vendors. ready to learn and I think the ECU flash is the best first step. came from the EVO and this was easily worth 50 hp.
