Saying goodbye to my E55...
Well guys, as hard as I looked, actually buying 2 E55s, I have decided to sell mine. I really like the car, but not in love with it. It's really fast in a straight line but does not handle like I want. I have had it for 3 weeks and been getting everything done the way I like, but it's not for me..Anyway, I just picked up a white M6 today and will be putting the E55 up for sale..It has 11863 miles on as it sits. Everytime I look at it, it does look bad azz.

Too bad to see that someone that have a lot of great cars and of course have a very good knowledge in cars think that our cars doesnt have enough handle to satisfy his needs.
Im sure what you are selling is very good E55. and the person who will buy it from you will get a nice deal.
Good luck with the sale.

wait...are you saying you think otherwise? i think SW's assessment is fair and spot-on...its a great car for straight line power and luxury/space, but tell it like it is, this car handles like ish!
The car really is meant for straight line bombing; All you have to do is look at SW's garage and it becomes pretty apparent that handling is just as important as straight line performance to him (and rightly so).
SW - Since the '10 E63 is supposed to address this issue of handling - any chance you're eyeing the TT AMG when they hit? Hopefully you still check in from time to time and update us with any recent additions (can't wait to see what you do to the M6).

The car is very good in a straight line... And the handle is not as good as it should be.
For me it is acceptable for a +4000 lbs car. I wish it was better, but...
I dont think it handles like sh*t.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I will still be around checking in. I am going to think about what is a fair price, not looking to make anything on it, just trying to get what I have in it out. I have already listed it on my Dealer website but I will let you guys know what the real price is tomorrow. Here is a list of what the car has on it. I already sold the other '06 I had.

Not even close? Am I missing something?
m5 is about 12.5
Ford gt is low 11's
gallardo low 12's
f430 high 11's
The only car that is close would be the Ford GT and If the e55 is pushing 625 HP I don't see any of these blowing it away?
