Unhappy Issues installing HID low beab bulbs

Hey guys. I am trying to swap my hid low beam bulbs and it is proving to be very difficult. Can anyone give me exact steps of how to reinsert the bulbs and igniter?

I have put the new bulb in the insert and put the two spring connector in place to hold it down but cannot for the life of me get the igniter to go into place and lock. It is supposed to go into these four slots and then be twisted clockwise to lock but it is not working? Some help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thank you god! After 11 hours of fuc**ng around I finally got them in. I had to remove all four pegs or tabs on the igniter by cutting them off and filing them down and then I had to glue gun the little metallic ring back onto the igniter since the tabs were gone. I put glue on the two ends with the little circles until they were solid and held in place. After this I just put the igniter on the bulbs which were in place and twisted clockwise and they connected. The tabs to hold the igniter in place are not really needed, so cutting them is not a big deal for the bulbs will hold the igniter in place.

Thanks Ammi for the tip on cutting the tabs off!

If the bulb is seated correctly, the ballast/ignitors easily slide right on. However, the passenger side ignitor goes on UPSIDE DOWN!!!! If you look at the writing on it, it'll be right side up on the driver side and upside down on the passenger side when correctly installed.

Edit: I spent 20 minuted screwing around with the pass. side before I figured it out.
