E 63, is anyone running....
the 19" AMG wheel that was popular at the end of the W211 run? You know, the 19" 5 spoke that was on the last sport package 211 350 and 550? Just wondering if they would clear the AMG brakes, and if someone had a picture. How about the 19" CLS 55 style wheel, I think the rear offset is a tad off, but aren't some of you running them? I'm afraid the 19" stuff may just not be big enough, even with the ride height pretty low...Thanks if you can help.

I know that exact wheel, that your referring too. Yes, it will clear the calipers. Any wheel 18" or larger that fits an E, CLS Class will clear those calipers. You have to have the right offset though, or they might hit the calipers. I have a 30 offset on the front and a 35 offset rear, for my 19" wheels. 245/35-19 for the front, and 275/30-19 in the rear, and I have lowered it, since these photos were taken.

I'm well aware that the .....
big wheel thing is not the fender gap solution. It's just a matter of proportion--the 211 (and especially the 212) are just nearly "slabsided", so tall and flat that the larger wheel looks proportional to it.
So, still wondering if anyone is using the 19" late style wheel?
