Hi all, been lurking for a while.

I have an E55 AMG modded by my uncle. It has a pulley and exhaust. It is fast. Fun car. It is running around 13-14 psi. What other mods can I do to get more power without going into engine headwork etc?

Welcome madAMG, There's a few things you can do. Larger throttle body, tune, upgraded cooling system will help keep the power consistent, cams... if you search around you'll find some threads on some pretty highly modded E55s and CLS55s that might give you some ideas.

cool, thanks. I just got spanked in my uncles AMG. He has a CL65 AMG with tune and exhaust and I was visiting his house and went cruising on the freeway. Did a roll with a porshe and got stomped real bad Sunday night. I even got the jump. Thing is that this CL65 is way faster than my E55. My uncle was surprised. He has walked pretty much everything he's rolled against. I don't live in uncles town so I won't see that porshe but I suspect there are more running around.

E55, Supercharged Z4 (sold)
Long tube headers would be a good option to add power and keep the heat down. There is a group buy going on right now if you're interested. 50hp is a good estimate on long tubes. From what I've seen it's the way to go if you've already done the pulley/tune thing. It's a win/win

2 mods you should do hands down

long tube headers or some type of header. (Long tubes can cause O2 sensor issues/problems with passing emissions so check your state up front) I literally have to plug in a special Kleemann program to get mine to pass emissions, then swap out the ECU for my monster tune.

Other than that, an 80-82mm TB will make her pick up some juice for sure.
TB install will need to pop off the blower/or at least crack her up a bit to get off the old TB.

thanks for the info. Will try that. I have a pretty healthy IC so I know I should have no problems getting more power. if I can hang with my uncles amg65 I'll be happy.

So who has done all of the following to their car:

Nitrous 100, maybe 150 shot? Wet or dry?
Methanol Injection - either straight or water mix?
Race fuel tune - 100 to 109
larger injectors - how big

I've done 15psi pulley, IC, and exhaust, not headers. I will do headers, long tube and people are saying to do TB's, but what about the above. If I got a good shop to do the above, I should gain about 150-200 to the wheels, no? but are there shops that do both NOS and methanol?

What car do you have? Your profile states E63.
And your location would be good too, your car may not be running right, and the members here can direct you to a good shop to have it checked out.
Very few Porshe or Porsches will hang with a E55

I meant E55 not 63, but my uncle has a cl65. Good to know that very few porshes will hang with one, because that porshe kicked my ***. I live outside of Albuquerque, but my uncle lives in Denver area which is where I got beat. It was not in my E55, but my E55 is about 3 car langths slower than my uncles CL65. He has a tune, higher boost (not sure how he got the higher boost) and some other stuff done to it. I was in his car not mine when I raced the porshe. But his car is fast. He actually had the E55 before he gave it to me. He did a big pulley, an IC, and a cat back system. But his 65 is faster. So if I took my car to Denver it would not run right? why? doesn't the computer compensate for weather changes? I might be moving up there to go to CSU.
