Noise coming from AC Compressor even when off

The noise is kinda embarrassing, at first I thought it was the steering wheel pump as it sounded just like that on my other cars when its oil level is low. But it turned out that it was the AC that was making the noise.

Can that be fixed, or there's no way around replacing the whole thing?

The front pully bearing is propably the noise- it can be replaced seperatly from the entire compressor with no opening up of the ac system (freon)

Excellent, do you happen to know the correct bearing size for it

There are 2 different sizes- if you give the parts dept your VIN# they will be able to tell which one fits your car
