Help with Eisenmann Install
Hi.
I am about to put an Eisenmann Race exhaust on my 06 E55. My mechanics were not sure exactly where to cut on the stock exhaust. He did not want to cut to much, or not enough. If its possible to get an exact measurement of where to make the clean cut. I want the exhaust to sit exactly as if it were stock.
Any help is welcome. Thanks.

I don't see where the problem is. Can't he tell by looking at the eisenmann exhaust to see how long the new pipes are? He can cut a little and hold up the new exhaust, if not enough, cut a little more.

Whatever we're tuning!
Just hold the Eisenmann under the factory section, line it up with the rubber hangers and mark how far you want to slide the new exhaust over the factory exhaust.
I would find another person to install it if he can't figure this out. Very straight forward.
Good luck!

Any exhaust guy that ask me that question i tell him to lower my car down and let me get the heck out of here, if he have to ask I wouldn't want him to touch it.

It was just to make sure. We put on the passenger side muffler no problem. I guess it was a stupid question, I just wanted to make sure I had an exact measurement this way we could not screw up ...

Ditto on needing a new muffler guy. You can pretty much put the cut anywhere you like and it will not change a thing as long as you can get still get the tubing to slip fit properly.
