Im in the market for an E55(03-06) and was wondering what to look out for with these cars. Im trying to find one around 24-27k. Are these cars fairly reliable with a lot of miles? Im seeing a lot of the cars in my price range with a ton of miles. Is there any place i can buy an aftermarket warranty? Thanks for any and all your help.

like most cars, it will depend on the care and the abuse it was given. there is alot of info on here just do a search for E55 and your year. I am new but from what I have read they seem to do pretty well ,as you would expect from MB but when thing break or go wrong , it can be costly so , look into a car that has an extended warranty or look to buy it with the car. the Mod cost are alot higher for these than most american or japan imports . but oh what a fun car to drive.
